HIVE MAINTENANCE Enjoy the benefits of beekeeping with none of the work. Beekeeping service for private home owners, education centers and businesses. Includes hive placement, what type of equipment is best for you, acquiring bees and installation then ongoing maintenance of the hive(s). Includes monthly inspections at a rate of $100 per hour plus needs of the hive(s). The bees, equipment, honey and other products belong to you. This is best if you want to ease yourself into managing your own hives but need some guidance or want a hive or two but do not have time for inspections.  Hive maintenance MUST be done once a month. Monica specializes in safety and keeping gentle hives, a management must in urban areas. This is also a great option for hobbyists that are needing someone to check their hives while they are on vacation.



​$100/hour (within Tucson, Marana, Picture Rocks, Green Valley, Arivaca, Sasabe and Three Points. Additional fees for any travel time outside these areas.) 

PLUS price of any tools/bees/queens/products needed by your hive(s)

Examples include:

Frame of honey ranges from 
        Medium dark comb $45, new comb for human consumption $75
        Deep dark comb  $65, new comb for human consumption $100.

Frame of brood (open and/or sealed) with some nurse bees $40.

New Queen (marked) $40. plus optional Battery Box and attendants - add $10. deposit, refundable upon return of box.
