2025 Bee Removals

6) January 23rd
Off Bilby between Campbell / Tucson Blvd, Tucson
Garden Shed Ceiling - 1/2 hour removal time

Homeowner stated first noticed the bees around November, 2024. Size of colony along with laying workers and queen cell in removal number 1, make me suspect that this colony swarmed from the shed floor near Park & Bilby.

Shed Floor - 30 minute removal time.

Homeowner stated bees have occupied shed floor at various times over a "couple of summers". Stated that he thought that the neighbor may have been poisoning them. Hive was once a large hive with comb over at least three studs. Decreased to Laying worker with a dead virgin queen inside the only queen cell noted. Some honey stores. Colony was at last stages of collapse.
